Welcome to the Ceylon College of Physicians

The Ceylon College of Physicians is Sri Lanka’s premier professional organization for specialist Medicine: General (Internal) Medicine and its finer specialties, which currently includes Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Neurology, Pulmonology, and Rheumatology and Rehabilitation Medicine.  It is also an important partner in multi-disciplinary specialist fields such as Critical Care Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Geriatrics, Haematology, and Palliative Care Medicine.

Established in 1967, the College has taken the lead in training specialists and providing continued professional development (CPD) for them.  It is a non-profit organization, and its members contribute towards its many activities entirely voluntarily.
