Periphery to the fore

One of the pillars of the CCP’s Peer Learning Activities is the “Peripheries to the Fore” programme. Traditionally, CCP has reached out to the physicians serving the base hospitals in the outstations through regional academic programmes. Another side of the story exists. Young and energetic physicians empowered with updated knowledge from their overseas training serve in these hospitals. They are particularly adept at working with minimal resources and use well-honed clinical acumen to diagnose and treat patients. There is much to learn by the center from the peripheries. This is that forum.
