For Senior Registrars
The Ceylon College of Physicians calls for applications for the above research grant from senior registrars who are associate members of the College.
Eligibility criteria:
- Successfully completed MD (Medicine) Examination of the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine, University of Colombo
- Currently undergoing Senior Registrar training.
- Applicant is an associate member of the Ceylon College of Physicians
- The research project must have the approval of the Board of Study in Medicine, Postgraduate Institute of Medicine, University of Colombo
Multiple grants available for a maximum value of Rs. 100,000.
Applicants must provide documentary proof of the above and apply with a covering letter and a detailed budget of the research project.
You will be required to submit the following documents when applying.
- Detailed project proposal
- Detailed budget for the project
- Ethics approval letter (if available)
- Evidence of successful completion of MD (Medicine) Examination of the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine, University of Colombo.
- Letter of approval of the research project by the Board of Study in Medicine, Postgraduate Institute of Medicine, University of Colombo
- Letter from the primary trainer confirming current trainee status.
The applications will be assessed by a panel of judges for suitability for the grant.
The grant will be awarded to each successful applicant on the submission of:
- A copy of the letter of ethical clearance from a recognized research ethics committee.
- A signed declaration agreeing to the terms and conditions of the grant which will be provided by the College.
