The Ceylon College of Physicians (CCP), through its President Professor Prasad Katulanda, has officially addressed a letter to His Excellency Anura Kumara Dissanayake, President of Sri Lanka, condemning the recent assault on a female doctor at Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital. The CCP has called for immediate justice and enhanced safety measures across all hospitals in Sri Lanka.
